I have used the pants for a warm weather hike as well as bushwhacking along a small creek while fly fishing. They kept me cool and protected my legs from all kinds of branches and things. Unlike other pants I've worn these have shown no signs of snags or other damage.
The material is great and really cool. I only wish that the leg zipper pocket opening was large enough to accommodate a phone.
I own several styles of their shorts and pants, and I love every pair and wear daily. The quality is outstanding across the board, but the Vent lightweight pants are my favorite. They're incredibly comfortable, versatile enough for any occasion, and fit so well that I intend on buying every color. Highly recommend.
Felt a bit tight at first and not as stretchy as I had hoped (made my unders ride up and bother me). But upon actually using them outside, they broke in wonderfully. Comfortable, and with good utility. The button is a bit finicky but if you press hard enough it goes in good.
Perfect active day or travel pant! Been wearing them for hikes, cool day trail runs, and travel.
Worn everyday for 5-day bike trip (GAP/C&O trail Pittsburgh to DC). Temps averaged 50-80 degrees, so not very hot. I packed a standard bike jersey, but never wore it. There was no need. The Nofry sun hoodie was perfect. Aired it out overnight. And washed it once mid-trip. Can't wait to wear it on other adventures this summer and even lazy days at the beach. Awesome product!

Didnt fit as like the tshirt version or long sleeve version. Either it was labeled wrong or something but it feels like a medium size and is shorter than a large size
So far I have used them for training runs and races. They fit great, breathe well, and seem to have just the right amount of material. They also have three roomy pockets that stay secure while running, with plenty of space for a phone, valuables, electrolytes, and energy chews. They pair well with the Shoulder Season top for cooler days and the NoFry Sun Hoodie for warmer days. I highly recommend them.
There's a reason I keep adding more KETL to the collection. These are no different than the pants, but less fabric. And this is a good thing.

After I ordered the nofry sun hoodie I then saw reviews of people saying that it was too short on them, so I was getting a little worried about that because I am 6'2" 190lbs and normally get tall/long sizes when available. The hoodie came today and I am very pleased on how it fits. The sleeves are perfect length and the torso is pretty good as well ( I would prefer a tad bit longer torso, but it still fits great). The fabric feels amazing on the run I just went on in the 90 degree sunny weather.
The only reason I gave it a four instead of a five star is due to one of the snap buttons not being fully set into the fabric. I noticed the top snap sounded a little loose, and then when I was unsnapping the vent, the button came out of the fabric. I have experience with this kind of work and had the tools to fully set the snap back into the fabric so that it will not come out when used.
Overall, great sun hoodie.
