David Sends a 27 Mile Trail Run
Once or twice a year, some friends and I get together for a big sufferfest trail run in a new segment of California. This year it was Montana de Oro State Park along the Central Coast, where the boys crushed 27 miles worth of gels, Uncrustables, and next-level stunning views of Morro Bay. Can't wait for the next one.

Liam's Casual 112 Mile Spin
The other weekend McKay Vezina was in town, so Tydeman and I met up with him and Carter Nieuwesteeg for what McKay called a “5 hour Ojai loop.” The planned 95 mile ride grew when we were moving too fast, so McKay added a Lake Casitas lap and the pace stayed high all day. A cross headwind on the coast and a final 1,000 foot punch up Potrero sealed the deal. Final stats: 112 miles, 6,500 feet of climbing, 5:40 ride time, 19.9 mph average.

Media Crew Heads To Donner
The KETL media crew headed to Donner Pass to capture winter gear in the kind of conditions it was actually made for. Snow on the ground, cold mornings, and a full day of hiking and filming made for a proper mountain office. Mid day refreshments on the mountain helped keep spirits high and creativity flowing before finishing the job.
