This page & the YouTube videos on it have all the information you are getting for any of these edition treasure hunts. Watch & read with focus like Bruce Lee, then go ask Jack Sparrow for help. But seriously, be careful, be a smart outdoorsman, bring way more water / food than you think you need, have a satellite SOS device, wear pants / long sleeves, use offline maps etc.

If the jar you're after has coordinates given, use them to plan your route, use the video for the visual clue to know exactly where to find the jar when you arrive at those coordinates. If the jar you're after does not have coordinates, put your big boy pants on. This page will update in real time noting when each jar has been found. If it doesn't say **FOUND** then that jar is still up for grabs.

There could of course be the rare case where someone finds it & has yet to reach out and let us know. There is an AirTag in all of the jars to help us know when it is found + we can see when the gift card gets redeemed. Each jar has a letter inside instructing the finder to let us know it's found. Historically, everyone has told us right away with a proud smile on their face. But of course you could be in the wrong spot or a bear might have eaten the jar etc. Hunting for treasure is a gamble and you may not find anything but you will still have a fun day outside regardless and that's the point :)

By viewing clues, searching for, or attempting to recover any KETL Mtn. Treasure Hunt jar, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

Participation is completely voluntary and undertaken entirely at your own risk.

Outdoor recreation can be dangerous. Risks may include, but are not limited to, falls, heat illness, dehydration, exhaustion, wildlife encounters, unstable terrain, weather changes, navigation errors, lack of cell service, delayed rescue, injury, property loss, or death.

You are solely responsible for your own safety, preparation, fitness, route choices, equipment, navigation, transportation, and decision-making.

Bring appropriate water, food, clothing, footwear, navigation tools, sun protection, lighting, first-aid supplies, emergency communication, and overnight equipment if your route may require camping or an unplanned night out. Do not attempt long, remote, or overnight routes unless you have the experience, fitness, gear, and conditions to do so safely.

Do not search at night. Do not enter private property. Do not enter closed, restricted, hazardous, or prohibited areas. Do not violate any federal, state, local, park, forest, wilderness, or land-management rules.

Do not climb unsafe terrain, cross dangerous water, damage vegetation, disturb wildlife, move rocks or natural features in a destructive way. Some jars may require minor surface-level uncovering only where the clue or video makes the location obvious. If you are tearing up the ground, guessing, or creating visible impact, stop immediately.

No treasure jar is worth risking your safety. If a route, location, weather condition, or situation feels unsafe, stop immediately and turn around.

Participants are responsible for knowing and following all applicable laws, regulations, trail rules, parking rules, permit requirements, fire restrictions, and land-use restrictions.

KETL Mtn. / Cayley Enterprises, Inc., its owners, employees, contractors, affiliates, partners, and representatives are not responsible for any injury, death, loss, damage, expense, claim, or other harm arising from or related to participation in the KETL Mtn. Treasure Hunt, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

KETL Mtn. does not guarantee that any jar will be found, that any clue will remain current, that any route will be safe or passable, or that any reward will remain available at the time of your search.

By choosing to participate, you accept full responsibility for your actions and agree to release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless KETL Mtn. / Cayley Enterprises, Inc. and all associated parties from any and all claims arising from or related to your participation, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

KETL Mtn. Treasure Hunt Basic Rules

No purchase necessary. Participation is free and voluntary.

Participants must be 18 or older, or accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

Treasure jars are hidden on publicly accessible land, but participants are responsible for following all applicable laws, closures, permits, posted rules, parking rules, trail rules, and land-use restrictions.

Do not trespass, enter closed or restricted areas, damage property, disturb wildlife, excavate, or alter natural features while searching. Minor surface-level uncovering may be needed for some jars, but only where the clue or video clearly indicates the exact spot. Leave the area as you found it.

Each treasure jar may only be claimed once. Rewards are available only to the first person or group to legitimately find and claim each jar.

Rewards have no cash alternative beyond what is included in the jar. Gift cards are subject to KETL Mtn.’s normal gift card terms.

Participants are responsible for any travel costs, parking fees, taxes, injuries, losses, or other expenses connected to participation.

KETL Mtn. may modify, pause, cancel, relocate, or end the treasure hunt at any time for safety, legal, land access, weather, fire restriction, or operational reasons.

By participating, you agree to the safety disclaimer above and accept full responsibility for your actions.

It's yours to keep! Take it all home and leave no trace.

The card inside the jar will tell you to contact us ASAP so we can mark it as found.

The card will also have your gift card code on it.

Inside the jar will also be a Ugreen tracker, you can either toss that or reset it and use it. Directions on how to reset it can be found here.
