The Rocky Mountain Oyster Challenge has officially come to an end, and it turned into exactly what we hoped for. Controlled chaos across the Colorado Rockies. We hid a total of 19 treasure jars across the Front Range and deep into the mountains, giving away $6,800 in cash and KETL gift cards along the way. From the moment coordinates went live at 8 a.m., it was a full-on scramble.

This was not just plug-and-play navigation. Every jar was buried under rocks, and the coordinates alone were not enough. You had to match each location to visual clues from the video to actually find the right spot. Some people locked in immediately. Others walked right past treasure without even realizing it.

The hunt followed an elimination ladder. 10 jars led to 5, then 3, then a final jar hidden somewhere west of Leadville with the biggest prize. Each level got faster, more competitive, and harder to call. You had to move quick, make decisions on the fly, and commit. Hesitate for even a few minutes and it was gone.

Now that the final jar has been claimed, any remaining coordinates will be released so people can still get out there and hunt. Because at the end of the day, this was never just about the cash. It was about having a reason to drop what you are doing, head into the mountains, and have one hell of an adventure.
