Lightweight and easy to live with, it delivers just enough protection to keep you moving without the stiff, noisy feel of traditional rain shells. The stretchy 2.5-layer fabric handles about an hour of steady rain while staying breathable so you do not end up clammy.
It packs into its own pocket, vents heat when the pace picks up, and adjusts quickly when the weather shifts. Simple, packable, and comfortable, the BodBrella is the rain jacket you bring everywhere and actually use.
*Note: We designed the Bodbrella to be a slim fitting rain shell. If you plan to layer underneath it, we recommend sizing up.

I love this raincoat. I bought this coat because after 9 months, I just couldn't get along with my Black Diamond Fineline rain shell. The hood shape/design is all wrong and there's no chest pocket, which is a major bummer.
The BodBrella is just a better designed rain jacket. The hood design is just right and has 2 points of adjustment. The overall fit of the jacket is spot on -- not too baggy, not too tight, not too long.
My only (very) minor nag is that the main front zipper can get stuck on the zipper flap around the chest area when zipping up. It's a small price to pay for an otherwise great rain shell.

Absolutely love it! It’s so tiny and the lightest possible jacket I’ve ever owned right out of the bag. Unfolding it I was so surprised how great the quality of fabric feels and the stitching around the cuffs for being so lightweight.
I’ve been wearing it for a two week trip in Ireland with daily rain and wind gusts up to 60-70mph near the cliffs and can tell you 100% no rain or wind gets through this. I left a heavier jacket at home and wore a long sleeve base layer under this and in 50-60 degree weather this thing is amazing. The pockets are big enough for my light gloves and beanie and that’s all I need on this trip. My old rain jacket would stick to my bare arms when I’d get sweaty wearing it. This one I’ve had no sweat even when hiking and it’s not sticking to my arms which is great. The draw strings on the hood and around the waist are a lifesaver in the strong winds too.

Great quality rain jacket! Only wish is larger pit vents and this would be unstoppable for the tropics and can always layer in cold climates.
This jacket is a massive win. I just upgraded my packable rain jacket, since I’m coding the Philippines in the rainy reason, and I was very impressed with this one’s performance. It’s incredibly lightweight and packs easily, but still has so many features of a full rain jacket. Ventilation, stretch on the cuffs, pull tabs on the hood, and pockets! Very happy with this purchase.

This rain jacket is perfect for morning and afternoon hikes in light rain. I love how lightweight and breathable it is. It's a must have if you like hiking in the rain.
I bought a packable rain jacket from another brand probably 5-6 years ago and between its age and the fact that I’ve lost about 70lbs, I wanted to get a new rain jacket for when I’m traveling. Specifically I needed one for a 2 week business trip I just got back from, in Panama City Panama, which is currently in monsoon season.
Settled on the Bodbrella and couldn’t be happier that I did. The jacket is VERY comfortable to wear, it breathes well and has a shocking amount of stretch for a rain jacket, and the color is awesome. It also packs down much smaller than the jacket it’s replacing to the point that I now consider the previous jacket “packable” rather than actually packable.

I also took this to Japan for 2 weeks. Got caught between two different rainstorms for a few days but didn't have much trouble walking around the cities or hiking Mt Takao! Hope I spelled the name of the mountain correctly.
