Built for cold runs. Down for anything else.

When the temperature drops and the miles stack up, the Merino Motion Trail Gloves keep your hands warm, dry, and responsive. The merino grid fabric naturally regulates temperature, providing warmth in the cold while staying breathable during high output efforts. Moisture wicks away quickly to prevent clammy hands, keeping you focused on the trail.

A dedicated watch window lets you check your pace without pulling up your sleeve, and touchscreen compatible fingertips make it easy to switch songs or check maps without losing heat. Grippy silicone on the palms and fingers ensures a secure hold on bottles, poles, and even handlebars in any condition.

Lightweight, naturally odor resistant, and designed for performance in cold conditions, these gloves are built for runners, hikers, and anyone who refuses to sit out winter.

Perfect Gloves for Hiking

These gloves fit my hands and fingers perfectly. My favorite part, though, is the watch slit. It’s such a small thing, but it makes a big difference. I can check my watch without taking the gloves off, and no other brand I’ve tried has this feature.

The Watch Cutout Is Amazing

So warm! The watch cutout is amazing.
I have a similar type of glove from another brand but these are by far more comfortable and warmer. Easy to send a text with these on too.

Lauren Oliver

Warm But Breathable

Took these out for a spin a couple weeks ago and after 10 minutes or so, was thinking that maybe I didn't need gloves after all. But I left them on, and was very surprised that my hands weren't totally sweaty. Really great to know that these can be more flexible in terms of temperature.

Fantastic gloves, tricky sizing

Ordered these for cold-weather hiking as well as daily wear. The recommended size (L- also what my old UA pair is) was too small so returned for next size up, but likely should have even went larger - but just kept them. Quality materials, smart style, and really love that all fingers can work on a phone screen - plus the palm grip makes me feel like spider man. Apple Watch Ultra is a tight fit in the wrist area hole, but once you have it on, the glove does a great job blocking wind and cold air on hands and wrists.

These gloves are fantastic

These gloves are fantastic. When running, they work solo down to mid thirties, and with a windproof shell, they dip down to the upper teens. Unlike other gloves I've tried, these never leave my hands sweaty, even when temps climb. The watch window is well fitted around my Garmin Enduro 3.

On durability, I took a nasty fall on concrete that I broke in part with my gloved hands. Zero abrasion. No marks. So impressed with these gloves.

Game-changer for cold weather runs and walks

The Merino Motion Trail gloves are the best I’ve used. They are comfortable, warm, breathable, and thoughtfully designed. The watch windows (yes, both gloves have one) allow your watch to be visible while keeping your wrist covered and warm. The touchscreen fingertips are effective on both my watch and phone, and the silicone pattern on the palms, thumbs, and index fingers provides a very secure grip. Highly recommended.

Great Gloves! Durability in question.

They fit great and make for great walking/biking cloths. My first pair had a rip on the thumb seam. But KETL was imediant with doing a swap for a new pair. I was told that the first batch of gloves had more of this issue, but the new ones can still happen. So time will tell how long the others will last, thus the 4 stars.

These gloves are awesome

These gloves are awesome. I wore them on a snowshoe hike yesterday and was impressed as to how well they kept my hands warm. Even when they got wet my hands were fine. They dried fast too. As for comfort, the fit Is perfect and I love the whole hand touchscreen action. Top notch quality as always from KETL.

Nice gloves

Fits great for me. Watch opening is the best! Outdoor walks and driving in my early Bronco. I used smartwool before this and they were just ok. These are slim and perfect for light stuff.

With the weather warm to hot I've not used the gloves yet but the fit is spot on for my broad

With the weather warm to hot I've not used the gloves yet but the fit is spot on for my broad palms - snug but not too tight. And, just the right weight. Looking forward to cooler temps when I will use them regularly on Montana trails and slopes.

Great, just run a bit small

Bought a size L to start as I usually wear a M/L glove, but they were tight in the fingers.Great customer service as always, easy exchange for an XL that fit much better. Love the cuff opening for a watch, and fantastic performance on touchscreens (phone)!

The orange speed lines...

I have only used the Trail gloves twice while getting ready for the SOBO thur hike of the "AT", on the 2nd hike the orange finder stripes rubbed off, Is this orange stripes just for looks on the new gloves or what? Other then that I would give the Merion Motion Trail 5 stars.

Essential winter gear

The challenge with liner gloves is providing a reliable heat layer for your fingers with the best material that dosent fall apart after heavy use.
These gloves are by far the best in class merino wool gloves I’ve used but are by no means perfect yet (hence 4 stars) my original glove stitching came apart after a few strong alpine sessions used as a base to a larger protective glove in -20f climbs.

Sizing up to XL has so far proven to reduce the pull on stitching and the fit is perfect. Merino is by far the best fabric to use in intermediate environments and this glove has already seen two further ascents in the Catskills.

Recommendation is size up if you normally wears a large. If it’s too snug it will pull and damage stitching. The finger bright grips eventually wear off but the underlying dark grip tape keeps and does not budge.

I now use may KETL products and every single one has lived up to the claims and not blown a whole in my wallet.

Great gloves!

These gloves are amazing. The watch window is genius! Although lightweight, they are very comfortable and warm enough, and allow for easy use of my phone. When these wear out, planning on getting another pair. Great job with these KETL Mtn!

They are very nice gloves

They are very nice gloves, but I was hoping I’d be able to use them for winter mountain biking and they did not keep my hands warm enough in 30° weather to be riding. I think they’re wonderful gloves for every day all around use but they did not keep me warm riding on a bike in 30° weather..

Love the watch window!

I’ve been looking for gloves with a watch window for winter running so I can see my pace without having my wrist exposed. These are comfortable and fit nice and snug but they aren’t super warm. I would love a mitten option! I’m currently using these as a liner glove with mittens over them. Michigan winter is just too cold!

The fit is decent, though theyre a bit snug. My adice to anyone looking ar these wpuld be, they’re not very warm. They’re ok for about 40°, but if its much colder than that, they don’t do a great job.

That said, I love the look and design and the watch opening, in particular.
