I had skin cancer surgery on my ear 5 weeks ago and have been trying out several different hats to keep my face and ears protected.ive tried different bucket hats and booney hats and none have been 'perfect'. I found the Ketl Mtn Safari Hat and thought it looked good and provided the shade I need. Man, was impressed with the QUALITY of this hat when I got it. It's so well made, the brim doesnt flop around, is not hot, and looks good too.

Love this hat. I guide sea kayaking trips around the porcupine islands in Bar Harbor, ME and this is just what I've been looking for. Soft but rigid enough that it doesn't flop around like a bucket hat. Great sun protection and when the wind kicks up I'm never worried about it flying off with the adjustable head and chin straps. Thanks for another fabulous piece of gear KM!
Provides coverage for face and neck. True test is coming up soon WDW August vacation . Will see if it prevents headaches and feels comfortable and possibly even cool in the heat and humidity
Might be too heavy of a material for some on the hottest of days, but it holds its shape well and is a nice compromise for sun protection between the traditional large brimmed sun hat and a more compact option like a baseball cap.
I have a bigger head but nothing crazy. This didn’t quite fit. I cut out the lining and it’s a little better, but still tight. Would be great if it fits, i needed it for a trip and it was too late for me to return.

Coolest hat you'll wear. Bought this for the occasional hike, golf outing, beach day, yard work, etc. Really nice material, great adjustable fit, what more could you want out of a hat?
