The SierraLoft insulated puffy jacket was designed to be the one piece you reach for all winter long. With a dialed in midweight insulation level, it strikes an ideal balance between warmth and packability so you do not feel weighed down while still staying cozy in cold conditions. Equally at home on high alpine missions or as the single jacket you toss in your pack for travel, it delivers dependable performance in a wide range of temperatures.
Three zippered pockets provide secure storage for phones, wallets, or trail snacks, and the entire jacket compresses neatly into the front left pocket when not in use. It feels shockingly small and lightweight when packed down, especially considering how warm it is in use. The PFAS free DWR finish helps repel light moisture, and the windproof design keeps unwanted drafts at bay. Ideal for roughly thirty to fifty five degree Fahrenheit conditions depending on your personal thermostat and how tough you think you are.

Pair It With
This is a great jacket. Bridges the gap for me between light weight shell and full winter ski jacket. I went for a walk in 45 degree weather and my torso was kept warm. The hood also stays in place even with wind in your face. Fits great, looks great, in a word it's great! Ketl again creates an excellent piece of gear.
The jacket is deceptively thin, hence its packability but it is extremely warm. It keeps the cold wind out and is easy to layer under. I like the athletic cut to the chest and sleeves. The jacket hugs nicely to your body.
I'm in love with this jacket. So warm yet so lightweight. So soft yet so rugged. And one detail I like - the zipper works flawlessly. That's important!

I've had this jacket for one season and have been really happy with it. It replaced my well-worn LL Bean prima loft as my go to jacket down to about 30 degrees or so.
My only minor complaint is sizing. I'm 5'9" 185lbs and found myself between the medium and large. The medium worked but was a bit more fitted and wouldn't have allowed for layering a sweater. The large allows space for layering, but not so much that it feels like I'm wearing a trash bag.
Love this jacket! Great wind resistance and really good amount of warmth. This will work perfectly for cold hikes where I anticipate warming up a bit as it goes on while no overheating.

This jacket fits like a glove on my 6’3”, 180 lb. frame. So often jackets like this are a bit short in body and sleeve length on taller than average guys, but this one is made just for us.
And the matte fabric makes this stand out as a quality product.

Jacket works and fits great. As a 6'3 200lb guy it is a little difficult to find a jacket that isnt super bulky on me and this one does a great job.Ive worn it below freezing which was pushing the range it should be worn and up to 60 with just a t shirt underneath. Performs great as a do it all jacket, my new favorite. Only complaint is it isnt very breathable, but would likely use either a heavier jacket or a windbreaker with layers under it for active stuff anyways.
I purchased this jacket for my early spring cruise up the Norwegian coast. Temps in the 20s- 40s with windchill in the low teens. I wanted a packable layer to use with merino base and pullovers. It worked great. Good wind protection, a decent amount of insulation and the hood came in handy. Suggestions - interior pocket would be nice, something to tighten the hood,

This is a great fitting and even better looking jacket. I wear it as an everyday over business casual clothes, but I am also planning on packing/wearing it on some long hikes, by itself and under another shell. Super comfortable, high quality. Very happy with this purchase, one of my fave pieces of gear.
