The SierraLoft Insulated Vest takes everything we love about the SierraLoft Jacket and strips it down to an incredibly useful layer for the times you want extra warmth without committing to a full jacket.
The 60gsm recycled synthetic insulation keeps your core warm while the sleeveless design leaves your arms completely free to move and helps prevent overheating when you’re active. Throw it over a long sleeve or hoodie on a chilly morning, layer it under a shell when the weather gets worse, or keep it packed in your bag as an easy source of extra warmth while traveling.
Like the SierraLoft Jacket, the warmth-to-packability ratio is what really makes it useful. The entire vest compresses into its own front pocket, taking up surprisingly little room for the amount of warmth it provides. Two zipper hand pockets and a chest zipper pocket keep your phone, wallet, and other essentials secure, while the windproof shell and PFAS-free DWR help take the edge off cold wind and light moisture.
It’s the kind of layer that earns a permanent spot in your closet because there are so many days when a shirt isn’t quite enough, but a full puffy feels like too much.
