The mission with the Skid Mark mountain bike shorts was to nail all the useful features you’d want on the bike, tailored with a mountain bike specific fit and a durable fabric that’s stretchy, comfy and lacks swooshy’ness. We went with a progressive fit that’s not too loose, nor too tight, preventing your shorts from getting caught on your saddle. The length and cut is perfect to cover knee pads while the higher back rise on the waist prevents plumbers crack while seated. Packed with more useful features like two side zipper pockets and two rear zipper pockets, a stretchy waistband with built in belt to dial in the perfect fit, and our not patented at all "arse steam release tech" which is our fancy way of saying we laser cut some holes just below the waistband.

This shorts are RAD both on and off the bike. Stretchy, comfortable and breathable shorts that will make you happy specially in the heat. Pockets are deep and secured with zippers. I would buy another pair next time
Very comfortable and stretchy when you move on the MTB. I will be purchasing another pair because they are the only ones I want to wear. Been MTBing for 28yrs and these by far are the best.
The skidmark shorts are amazing! They're super comfortable during long rides (3-4 hours) and the pocket placement is perfect! These are my go-to shorts for almost every ride and my only want is maybe for some additional colors. On the customer service side; I have two pairs of Skidmarks and one is an earlier version that recently started to separate at a seam in the back. I contacted Ketl with pics and they immediately emailed a return shipping authorization. Within two weeks of sending the shorts to Ketl, I had them back, nicely repaired. They even made some other repairs/reinforcements I didn't identify. I compared the repaired shorts with the later version I have and it looks like they had already identified the problem and fixed it. The seam is now double stitched whereas the early version was single stitched.
