Nestled between Spain & the Atlantic Ocean, Portugal has become known for its incredible beaches, amazing food, and of course, Cristiano Ronaldo. But little did I know, the epic mountain biking that lay waiting for me deep within the jungles of this beautiful country.
A little over a year ago, I had the opportunity to travel to Portugal for an upcoming product launch for two of the biggest brands in the mountain bike industry, @srammtb & @rockshox. My adventure began in Coimbra where I toured the famous SRAM chain factory that has produced MTB chains for over 50 years. We then traveled to Sintra & Lisbon for some of the best riding & scenery I have ever seen. From luscious forests packed so dense you can barely see light, to wide open single track along the beach. Nothing short of incredible.
