So far, I love the shorts. The material feels very durable and snag resistant. The inseam length is perfect and medium fits my 33" waist. I have several old 5" shorts that fit how these do and have found that newer 5" shorts are too short. I think the higher waist bands interfere with the measurements (all brands). I've run in extreme hot and humid conditions as well through a rainstorm with no issues. The phone pocket does keep my phone dry which was very much appreciated during the rainstorm.
My only complaint would be the phone pocket is a hair too small. I can fit my pixel 6 in without a case but not with a case.
Love these shorts! I wish I could give 4.75 stars because I would love some side pockets with zippers but these are awesome
Tried a number of different running shorts Path Projects, Ten Thousand, Wowie to name a few. These are the best by miles! Quick drying, good pockets and light material. Comfortable even in the hot Atlanta summer.

I want to love these shorts. They are lightweight and super stretchy so they are very comfortable. But the "phone storage" pocket is utterly useless if you have a normal sized phone or god forbid one on the larger end. The pocket is very narrow and extremely shallow and will only accommodate the smallest of phones. The other two pockets are clearly only meant to hold gel so it looks like I'm forced to use a dorky arm band or something if I want to bring my phone on a run.
These trail run shorts are a game changer! Super lightweight and move freely with my body and I like that every pocket on the back has a zipper. I've run with a number of shorts that have a phone pocket on the back and these really are bounce free. Whether it's a short road run or a long trail run, I will be grabbing these every time (good thing I have a few pairs.) I paired these with the 8" Egg Cradle briefs and it's the perfect run short/brief combo.
