The magic is in the near weightless fabric. Our NoFry Sun Shirt (Long Sleeve) weighs in at only 87g in a size medium. 69g for the short sleeve and 104g for the hoodie. The fabric itself comes in at just 79gsm.
The thin, breathable fabric allows the shirts to pack down incredibly small & feel weightless on the body. Ideal for adventure travel or any long day in the sun.
These shirts dry incredibly fast and wick moisture making them perfect for every possible outdoor activity and making it easy to rinse and hang dry when needed.
Topped off with discrete thumb holes on the long sleeve and hoodie versions to keep the sun off your hands and the sleeves in place on windy days.

Fabric Details
Crafted from a unique, high-performance grid-knit poly (79gsm). It’s lightweight, breathable, and quick-drying, with a subtle texture that boosts airflow and comfort.
Soft, stretchy, comfortable and designed for sun-soaked missions when the heat’s on the sun is sharp.
Anti-odor control from HeiQ Mint. The gold standard in the outdoor industry for plant based, effective odor control on performance fabrics.
Because this fabric is intentionally built to feel extremely light and airy, it should be treated with a little more care than heavier fabrics. Avoid direct contact with Velcro, sharp edges, and abrasive surfaces to help prevent snags or pilling.

Wash / Care Instructions
To extend the life of this ultralight fabric, wash inside out and avoid washing with Velcro, open zippers, or anything abrasive that could snag or pill the fabric.
You don’t need to baby it, but because NoFry is intentionally built to feel nearly weightless and breathable, it deserves a little more care than heavier fabrics.
Hang dry when you can to help maintain the soft, barely-there feel.

Lightweight and breathable. I purchased this for a 4 day backpacking trip. It is more comfortable compared to another shirt that felt hot.
For my use case, this shirt is perfect. I'm right at 6'2 and 170lbs with a 42" chest and bought a medium. I love how the shirt length is slightly shorter on the sides than the front and back. It's also super lightweight at 3.1oz, but with that said, the material is very thin, and my chest hair created a bunch of bumps in the fabric. I will be wearing this over a merino wool t-shirt, so not a big deal.
I’m in the sun here a lot on the central coast of California. I like to cover up for protection but most long sleeve shirts make me too warm on sunny days. Girly “sun sleeves” just aren’t my jam. Then I heard about these No Fry shirts and they are exactly what I was looking for. Keeps me cool and covered. Material is soft and comfy. Now I own two - soon to be three.

Love it so far. Washed once and came out great, let it air dry and no wrinkles, dries really fast. I'm 5'6" / 135 lbs and the S fits me perfectly. It's much thinner and cooler than the Patagonia Capilene Cool Daily I have. Feels cool in hot sun and dries fast when coming inside. Did get a few tiny runs/blemishes but I don't care if it looks perfect and the guarantee will be nice if needed down the road.
This is by far the most comfortable, light and smooth fitting and fabric of any sun shirt I’ve bought this summer. That includes better than Patagonia, REI, Arcterix and Lands End.
The fabric is easily washed (by hand) hang dried in less than half the time of others!! Just LOVE this shirt!

Everyday runner in the Texas heat. The NoFry sun shirt is exceptional! Loose fit gives plenty of airflow. This shirt breathes! Very light weight. Works even better when wet! Well constructed, fits great (6'1", 150lbs = M. I really love that the sleeve cuffs are open rather than snug against your wrists...more air flow!! Buying. Second!
Definitely the lightest shirt I've owned and I have bought alot of different shirts trying to find this one, I would own more if they stayed in stock. Look forward to getting my hands on a couple more.
My husband and I bought 3 shirts each for a 7 day bike-packing trip (400 miles). They dry quickly and keep the sun at bay. They are nice and thin so even though it was 90-100 degrees, the shirts kept us relatively cool. I have no regrets!
We got ours one size bigger for a slightly looser fit.

I was excited to find that the Ketl NoFry short sleeve shirt was my absolute favorite short for style, fit, comfort, and most importantly, function. The breathability, stretch, and quick drying was top notch. This will literally become my new go to for hiking and trail running. Way to go Ketl!
The no-Fry sun shirt short sleeve is the lightest shirt I’ve ever worn. It is well made for wearing in the hot sun. I did have a lot a little problem with my shirt pilling. I sent a brief informal message to KETL house if others had had this problem, and they immediately replied in the shirt should not do that. Send it back. Will send you a new one. One more reason to love this brand they stand behind their product.

When will the nofry long sleeve be restocked in the XL size?
Those should be landing around Mid December!
Are you restocking the nofry hoodie anytime soon?
Most colors of the hoodie will be restocked around mid to late August. Sage and Cloud colors aren't due back until the fall though.
