Shenanigan Outdoor Pants (Slim Fit)

Will be buying more of this guy for sure! Durable, lightweight and stretchy.

Like the shenanigans so far but wish they had thigh pockets instead of back pockets. (Access sitting). I do mission work in Central America and zipper pockets are nice. Think boats on rivers, hiking, etc. like the fabric. Not crazy about the built in belt with the hook. It’s a little awkward to hook. Maybe just some time and it will be fine. I like a removable belt in an emergency. Would be nice to have a reinforced patch of fabric for a knife or leatherman pocket clip. Used the inside pocket for the leatherman. Secure but not as accessible but actually like it for mission travel. You want to be low key and not show anything.

I bought three of these for travel and I think they’re the perfect travel pants. They are comfortable, relaxed fitting, they have two zipper pockets in the back for extra security, the right side pocket is big enough for an iPhone pro max, the main pockets are super deep and the inner hidden pockets are very useful.

I only need two pants really for travel, because I can easily wash these in a sink and they air dry quickly (just ring out and then roll them into a dry towel to pull out the water). I also like how they come with a belt strap which means it’s one less thing I have to pack. The third pair is nice as a backup but you can easily travel with just two, washing these other pair while you wear the clean ones

Also, Ketl has a really easy return and exchange policy, which is very nice. Yes, they are pricey but honestly worth it

I have trouble finding pants that fit off the rack. These are perfect. I plan to order the other two colors.

I love these pants! Lightweight, stretchy, no need for a belt, so very comfortable. I wore them 4 days hiking in glacier national park. Hiked an average of 6 miles a day, one day was non stop rain, I hardly remember my legs/pants being wet. If they were, they dried extremely fast.

LOVE these pants! They're seriously perfect - the way they fit, how the fabric feels, the deep pockets, the clever design. Took other's advice & got straight fit (30/32) - so happy. I just need the other 2 colors now. 10/10 recommend.

My new go to pair of pants. Have 2 pair of shorts also. Well worth the money. Love them!!!

Just got back from Costa Rica and pretty much lived in my KETL Mountain gear the whole time. Fit, stretch, durability… all of it held up from the airport to the jungle to the beach.

Started with the Tomfoolery Travel Chinos on the flight. Super comfy and stretchy. Didn’t feel like I was wearing hiking pants at 30,000 feet, which was nice.

The Shenanigan Outdoor Pants were the ones I wore the most. Hiked through the jungle in them and then down to the ocean to help release baby turtles. Got hit with a pretty big wave and the water just ran right off. Didn’t soak through or get heavy at all.

For a zipline day in the jungle I wore the Shenanigan Outdoor Shorts and the Wayward Performance short sleeve tee. Stretchy, quick dry, breathable. Exactly what I needed in that heat.

Honestly everything I packed worked from the trail to just walking around town. That’s the thing with KETL. Technical enough for the mess, but it still looks normal everywhere else.

Tried these out after losing weight and needing to get some new pants. I travel a lot for work and these have become my go-to travel day pants - lightweight, comfortable, forgiving if I spill something on them, and very breathable. Seriously looking at purchasing a few additional KETL Mtn pants and shorts now!

Pants are good for hiking and travel. The integrated belt can be a tad difficult to hook/unhook at times, that’s my only complaint. An option with standard belt loops would be nice. Durability seems good, and the assortment of pockets fit your needs.

I just took these pants on a trip and wore them 8 or 9 days of hiking and climbing and even to an opera and nice party after all the time out in the mountains. Didn't even wash them and they stayed (looked?) clean and nice enough. They do get a bit hot when the temps creep up but feel perfect in mid temps.

Feels good, works well. The belt strap can't be detached which is a little unfortunate (you have to deal with it, even if the pants fit), but overall the pants both look great, are decently durable for their weight, and the pockets are sufficiently angled and deep that your items won't fall out.
I will say that the right-side vertical-open pocket is a little weird. I can't really find a use case for it. When you're seated, you almost sit on the items and can't easily reach. But perhaps others could find a use for it.

Pants are well made and fit just right. Comfortable and they stay put thanks to the waistband. The fabric is durable and seems to hold up well.

Was back and forth on ordering these pants for a recent hiking trip in glacier. They were more than worth it. Extremely comfortable and will be purchasing more. Liked them more than the arcteryx pants i brought with me.
