Vent Lightweight Active Pants (Slim Fit)

I've bought stuff via Instagram ads and it hasn't worked out so great. This is not one of those times. I had a hiking trip coming up in the heat and wanted to try some cooler pants. I was able to walk through the forest staying fairly cool, no swishing and the color is nice also. I opted for a roomier fit but was worried it might be too big when I sized up. The drawstring came in handy for that and offered a good fit. While they are a little thin, I was worried that they might tear on a branch. I had no issue whatsoever. While it is a little spendy in comparison to the other stuff I use, but it works and with the lifetime guarantee and free fixes, I am happy I took the plunge.

I really like the pants, but the elastic waist does not elastic enough. It is fine until you start being active. I recently hiked Mont Blanc and wore these on one of the days on the trail. They were awesome at first but before long they started to slip down. I guess I needed a size down. Great products but need a little more zip to the elastic in the waist.

These are by far my favorite pants. They are lightweight, comfortable, and easy to wear. I already ordered more.

Not much to complain about side from left side pocket being too large for a phone. The phone falls sideways and many people like myself prefer it as a phone pocket. Wish there were smaller inseam options but I guess I’m in the minority.

The Vent Lightweight pants are the most breathable pants I've ever hiked in. Quiet and non abrasive with a soft waistband that feels good underneath a backpack. Around a one hour hang dry time after washing at camp.

Love these pants. Very lightweight and breathable. The medium slim fit is a bit too tight for prolonged physical activity but I'm gonna try a large straight leg.

A great product delivers what it promises!

I am 5'5", 135 lbs. Generally speaking, I buy 30/30 jeans/pants. In this case, I bought size small and they fit well. Upon receiving them, I machine washed them and hung them. They dried the next morning.

The back pockets provide peace of mind. According to the video I watched on the Ketl page, there is one particular pocket in the front on the right side for a cell phone. However, when I put the phone in that pocket, the phone was exactly where my torso and my thigh pivoted, which created a weird sensation. Nowadays, everybody carries the phone everywhere, including hiking. I would probably like to have a pocket for my phone either on the back, on the side, or at a higher or lower position in the front, or even above the fly area.

On a very hot day, of course, they are a bit warmer than shorts, but they can reduce/prevent sunburn or bug bites. The breeze blows through the pants a little, which reduces the heating.

Breathable, lightweight, and comfortable, plus all the pockets you could want.

I purchased these pants because I tend to run hot but was tired of sticking out as an American when I travel because I was always wearing shorts and I wanted something presentable that would help me keep cool at restaurants in Europe where a/c is not as prevalent. These pants delivered in a big way. They don’t appear outwardly technical but they are very lightweight and I’m sure it’s in my head but when there is a breeze I think I feel cooler than I do with short. I love these pants so much I ended up buying more pairs for everyday life.

I was so happy with my Shenanigan Outdoor pants on my recent trip to hike in the Italian Dolomites that as soon as I got back, I wanted to order more. I chose the Lightweight Vent Pants because it has been so hit. Well, I decided to bring them on a fishing trip to the Northwest territories of Canada, and I am glad I did. The weather the first day was very warm with no real breeze and the pants were perfect! I know it was not a hike, but they were great for fishing too!

Initially ordered the slim and they were too tight for me on my legs from my calves to my butt. Replaced them with the straight fit and voila, amazing. Customer service was easy and quick. The straight fit is super comfortable and it looks nice in multiple situations. It’s exactly like they described with thoughtful details and design.

I love these pants, they are very comfortable and lightweight. The fabric breathes very well and the stretch component makes you forget that you are wearing them. They are a hair tight in the calf area, but not uncomfortable. Thoroughly recommended!

It fits well, is lightweight, and is highly breathable, making it very comfortable. If I had to add one thing, I wish it had belt loops.

BEST travel pants. I travel a lot to places that are hot and humid: I just finished visiting every country in Africa in November last year and was in Central America in March. These pants are perfect for hot and humid travel. Its the coolest I have stayed in this kind of weather. I love the pockets too; straight down and no risk of losing things. I have worn a lot of other travel pants but these are the best and they look good.
