Stretchy waistband with an internal drawstring that can be tied outside or inside. Two small accessory loops for keys, sunglasses or whatever else.
Side zipper pocket big enough for a large phone, hidden zipper on the back right pocket, button closure on the back left and traditional front pockets with an added media pocket on the right.
All pockets have light, stretchy mesh lining that help keep everything breathable and dry super fast, making these pants perfect for when you need to hand wash and hang dry when traveling or camping.

Regarding UPF Rating...
Our Vent Pants/Shorts technically don’t carry an official UPF (Ultraviolet Protection Factor) rating. That’s because the fabric is ventilated with extremely tiny needle-sized holes designed for maximum breathability. Since direct UV light can pass through those minuscule vents under very specific conditions, the pants can’t be certified with a UPF rating.
That said, in real-world use, it’s virtually impossible to get sunburned through them or get any meaningful UV exposure to your skin at all. For UV rays to reach your skin through those tiny vents, you’d have to be lying completely still in direct sunlight for several hours without moving at all. In normal use, there will never be any meaningful UV exposure through the fabric.
However, if you have heightened concerns about UV exposure due to skin sensitivity, medical reasons, or personal preference, we totally understand. In that case, we’d recommend checking out our Shenanigan Pants, which are a similarly lightweight option but fully UPF-rated for added peace of mind.

Excellent Travel Pants – Perfect for Morocco!
I purchased the Ketl Mtn Vent Lightweight Active Pants in anticipation of a two-week trip to Morocco, looking for a versatile pair of pants that could handle a wide range of environments and activities. These pants exceeded my expectations!
I needed something lightweight, durable, breathable, and comfortable enough to wear multiple days while traveling through Morocco's bustling cities and medinas, hiking in the Atlas Mountains, and exploring the sandy Sahara Desert. These pants checked every box.
They were comfortable in a variety of temperatures and conditions, held up exceptionally well to travel and outdoor activities, and looked good enough to wear casually in the cities. One of my favorite features was how easy they were to clean. A quick wash in the hotel or riad sink and they dried remarkably fast, making them ideal for traveling light with limited clothing.
For anyone looking for versatile, lightweight, quick-drying travel pants that can transition seamlessly from city exploring to outdoor adventures, I highly recommend the Ketl Mtn Vent Lightweight Active Pants. They were exactly what I was looking for and became an essential part of my Morocco travel wardrobe!

I've only worn the pants once, and they were lightweight and breathable. Weather was mid-upper 70's and sunny, and it was nearly as comfortable as if I was wearing shorts. One star removed, because we did lots of walking but otherwise very light activity, and it had a pick in it by the end of the day, and I didn't do anything "deserving" of getting a pick in the material
Solid hiking pants with many secure pocket options. While it does not work for the specific need I was looking for, I am happy to have a new hiking pants that is very sturdy and looks neat and solid.
It would be helpful to get a way to compare many materials (or clothing line) within the Ketl family of products, such as ventilation, etc. As I am spending time in Hawaii, I was hoping for something closer to the No Fry series of hoodies in the weather feel. It was hard to compare across the products to see which might get the closest!

These are honestly THE best hiking pants on the market. I would love to see some slight changes for future models: reinforced knees, butt, sides (for rappel) for rock climbing.

I have bought every color of these pants. They are incredibly comfortable. I tend to be hot all the time, so these are the only pant I can wear in the summer, and my daily wear in the winter.
They aren't 'swishy' like every other pant Ive tried. It's hard to explain, but they look like nice khakis, but feel like nothing else Ive worn, like soft and strong, but not cheap feeling.
I'm a 36 and 6'1" tall and weal the XL straight fit and they are perfect. The slim fit is a bit tight on the legs for me. Hope that helps.

These pants are fantastic. They are incredibly lightweight and comfortable. I just hiked 15 miles in them and they didn't give me a single problem. The sizing was great, not too tight, not too loose, not too long, not too short. I'm 6'2", 190 pounds and the 32/34 fit like a glove. Will definitely buy another pair.
I was going to be doing some late summer/early fall hiking in the Southwest. These pants have been an ideal fit so far. They are very breathable as advertised and keep me protected in the sun. I haven't seen a comparable product available among the usual go-to hiking gear retailers.

Just hiked to the lookout on a nearby mountain wearing my new vent lightweight active pants from KELT Mtn along with my sun hoodie. It was a long steep hike on a hot sunny day and these pants were fantastic. Super comfortable and very breathable. These are absolutely my new favorite hiking gear.. I’m 6’ 195lbs and the 34/30 fit perfectly.

These seem to be almost see-through, but that can’t be right. Right?
It might appear that way. Even one of the photos shows the pinholes and you can see the sunlight through them but when they're on your body, you can't see anything through them.
