We took everything we love about the Tomfoolery Travel Pants and cut them into a 7" short. Same fabric, same features, same ability to go anywhere and do just about anything.
What makes them different is how they show up.
These don’t look like outdoor shorts. No shine, no swoosh, no overly technical feel. Just a clean, chino-style short that works at dinner, on a flight, walking through a new city, or wherever the day takes you.
Under the surface, they’re built like travel gear.
The fabric is soft, stretchy, and comfortable enough to wear all day without thinking about it. A flexible waistband and internal drawstring keep the fit dialed without needing a belt, and the overall feel is easy from the second you put them on.
Storage is simple and secure. Two front zipper pockets, a rear zipper pocket, and a rear button pocket keep your essentials locked down whether you’re navigating airports, bouncing between plans, or just trying not to lose your wallet again.

I love this shorts and already using them many times for travel and daily basis. Great material and the brown color is solid and works with my usual all black attire. The side zipper works well to carry important document during travel as advertise. Probably will buy different color or version of the shorts from KETL.
Comfy, stretchy, classy shorts. Not a huge fan of the zipper pocket on these. Otherwise solid shorts.
I ordered the large and they fit great (6 ft 2 in, 190 lbs). Great style and someone asked about the shorts the first time I wore them which never happens. I love the fit and I love the zipper pockets. I wish I would have found this brand sooner.
These shorts look great after multiple days of use. The length and cut are perfect. The material is durable without being too heavy. Love the combination of pocket options. I plan on buying a second pair.

There's a reason I keep adding more KETL to the collection. These are no different than the pants, but less fabric. And this is a good thing.
Awesome Shorts. Got them for my trip traveling to Croatia. Liked the fact that it had zippered pockets. Although I didn’t feel like I needed them with how safe I felt traveling there.
I really like the fit and versatility of these shorts. They have the more casual feel compared to a few of the other shorts from Ketl. These are less active wear and more casual wear. Same quality and comfort but a bit more classy.
I’m 6’ and 195lbs. I often fit best in size 35, which sometimes puts me between sizes.
I’ve tried most of Ketls shorts in both Large and X-Large and find that generally the XL is a bit better, though I can fit in L. Same deal here. XL provides a bit of extra space but I could definitely be in a Large.
I purchased these for a 2-week European cruise. Once I received the khaki ones (pictured here on a hike), I immediately purchased the black and grey. They’re soft on the skin, with plenty of stretch, and feel plenty tough. I’d classify them as light to miweight, heavier than a quick-dry material, but not too hot. They definitely have a slightly looser fit, compared to a dressier chino, and the waistband is supremeIy comfortable. I ended up wearing these several days between washes, and they didn’t hold on to odors. The zippered pockets were a nice extra level of security when in pickpocket areas in Europe. 10/10 would recommend as an adventure short.
I thought the Virtuoso shorts (7inch) couldnt be topped. I was wrong. Best shorts I have ever owned. Looks classy, but functions in any outdoor environment. The fit is perfect. I am 158lbs at 5"8 and a small was perfect.

I undoubtedly made an error. I thought I bought the longer version of these shorts. I changed the color before I hit buy and maybe the length changed too. I’m 6’4” so these are a little short on me.
I bought these after loving the pants. I wore the pants all over Europe on holiday and now wear the shorts everywhere at home. They are comfy and look great!
Lighter weight but will wear like iron. Durable fabric.
