The Virtue Hybrid Shorts pair useful details like secure zipper pockets and a place to hang your sunglasses with lightweight, breathable, super stretchy fabric that stays comfortable and versatile whether you are on land or in the water.
Hidden zipper pockets on both front pockets and the rear right pocket, along with a snap button closure on the back left, help make sure your phone, wallet, or whatever else you are carrying is not going anywhere.
The fabric is the key reason these are the Swiss Army knife of hybrid shorts. Super stretchy, lightweight, breathable, surprisingly durable, and quick-drying, they are built to move seamlessly from land to water and right back again.

Great travel shorts for me! I prefer traveling light and need apparel I can hike and be in the city with. This time I also needed something I could get in lakes and rivers in. These are very comfortable. Used in most my hikes in Switzerland and, for the most part, they stay in place. After a lot of hand washing and use, they can start feeling loose but the drawstrings help keep them up. Love the fit and the feeling. Light and packable. I didn't end up using them in the water yet, but they did take a bit longer than I would have wanted to dry after hand washing at the hostel. I still bought another pair because of their versatility.
The devil is in the details. Everything about these shorts is just perfect. The sewing quality is immaculate. And all the extra details make these the perfect shorts.

I purchased the Virtue Hybrid Shots 7” specifically for travel to the Mediterranean. We are visiting Malta for 5 weeks and wanted packable shorts that look nice for dinners out, are extremely durable and pack well/don’t wrinkle. The added bonus with these shorts is you can also swim in them. In a word these shorts are Brilliant!!! I pair them with Departed Featherweight T Shirts and am as comfortable as possible in Malta’s Mediterranean August weather! I also bought a couple of pair of Tomfoolery shorts. All Ketl Mtn products are exceptionally quality and vaue for travel.

The Virtue Hybrid Shorts was everything I expected - and beyond. Managed to field test it at a recent trip to the Grand Canyon and Yosemite NPs and they did not disappoint. They were lightweight, quick to dry and very sun-protective in the scorching weather. A big plus for me was that they did not cause any chaffing despite the long hours and endless miles on the trail. Together with the NoFry Sun Hoodie, they made an excellent combination and I cannot wait to use them again for my next adventure.

These shorts are great. I accidentally bought a size smaller than I normally buy but because they are stretchy they actually fit pretty well. I’m generally in between a medium and a large and so the stretch allows them to fit snug while not being constricting. They’re quite soft and move with me so they’ve become one of my favorite pair of shorts. The only real con is the zippered front pockets. The zipper ends up making it a bit uncomfortable to put my hands in there casually and I personally don’t need them to secure anything. It also prevents me from having my EDC knife. Other than that these are awesome.
Love these shorts, they have already become one of my favorites. I wore them fly fishing for several days on the Soda Butte Creek and Lamar River in Yellowstone National Park last week, and I love the zippers to hold gear such as sunglasses, cell phone, fly box, clippers, etc. Ready to get another pair!
Love these! Got black and blue Virtue 7” and they’re always the first shorts I reach for. Looking at additional colors and styles so everyone doesn’t see me wearing the same 2 shorts everywhere. Have gotten lots of compliments.
Really like these shorts, look nice enough for a dinner out, but also flexible enough to hit the trails. In between sizes a bit, but adjustable waist helps this situation. Great length of shorts and hits thigh in a great spot (5’11”).
Outstanding new fit for the best ride shorts on the market. I swear by the Hybrids but previously only used the 9” version. I’m now wearing the 7” ones and I love them even more, especially on the bike as they fit more snugly.
How deep are the front pockets? Wondering if they will hold a large phone.

Heyo! They're a decent size. I don't have a depth measurement for ya but I can comfortably fit my iphone 15 pro and I have no doubt the Max phones fit comfortably too.
