Astonishingly featherweight fabric that the air blows right through. UPF 30+ sun protection so you’ll never get sunburned. 

The magic is in the near weightless fabric. Our NoFry Sun Hoodie weighs in at only 118g in a size medium. 81g for the short sleeve and 105g for the long sleeve. The fabric itself comes in at just 79gsm.

The thin, breathable fabric allows the shirts to pack down incredibly small & feel weightless on the body. Ideal for adventure travel or any long day in the sun.    

These shirts dry incredibly fast and wick moisture making them perfect for every possible outdoor activity and making it easy to rinse and hang dry when needed. 

Topped off with discrete thumb holes on the long sleeve and hoodie versions to keep the sun off your hands and the sleeves in place on windy days.

This sun hoodie is as described

This sun hoodie is as described. It isn’t as sunproof as some. It’s listed as spf 30, which is good but not as high as some. But that means it is lighter and more breathable than others that may be spf 50, for example. So, if you’re going to be doing something active, you may prefer this to others. One caveat to that is that this is SO light that bugs will sting you right through it, so just be aware of that if you’re going to be in a buggy environment. Use bug spray. The fit/sizing is accurate. I like it. Just be aware if you’re going to be sitting in direct sun for many hours, you may want something with a higher spf value, or supplement with some suntan lotion.

120 miles of hiking/running through the Swiss Alps - go to gear!

I just finished 120 miles of hiking/running through the Swiss Alps - this sun hoodie was my go-to piece of gear, and wins my prize for best piece of any of the clothes I brought with me. I covered a lot of rough terrain, and probably have a snag or two in the fabric as a result, but I would buy this one many times over again. The large hood was also a winner, saving my face and neck from sunburn over many hours on the trail. I should also add - it is remarkably smell-resistant, and when I did wash it, it was super fast to dry. All in all, a great piece of gear!
