Astonishingly featherweight fabric that the air blows right through. UPF 30+ sun protection so you’ll never get sunburned.
The magic is in the near weightless fabric. Our NoFry Sun Hoodie weighs in at only 118g in a size medium. 81g for the short sleeve and 105g for the long sleeve. The fabric itself comes in at just 79gsm.
The thin, breathable fabric allows the shirts to pack down incredibly small & feel weightless on the body. Ideal for adventure travel or any long day in the sun.
These shirts dry incredibly fast and wick moisture making them perfect for every possible outdoor activity and making it easy to rinse and hang dry when needed.
Topped off with discrete thumb holes on the long sleeve and hoodie versions to keep the sun off your hands and the sleeves in place on windy days.

I bought this for hiking The Narrows in Zion National Park and later wore it on the Devil’s Bridge trail in Sedona—it quickly became my favorite piece of gear. The hoodie breathes well, offers excellent sun protection, feels light, and dries fast after getting wet.
Sizing tip: I usually wear a large, but I went with an XL and it was the perfect fit for comfort and movement. Highly recommend for anyone heading outdoors—it’s now a must-pack item for my hikes.
The Perfect Hoodie for Hot, Sunny, Weather.
I bought these hoodies for some classes I was taking out in the Arizona high desert. They were the perfect weight (practically weightless) for the temperature but were great for keeping me covered and protected from the sun. We were walking through the desert among juniper and other trees, but they didn't snag too badly on any of the trees or on my gear. Definitely worth the money!
