Astonishingly featherweight fabric that the air blows right through. UPF 30+ sun protection with a soft, silky feel, so you can keep your skin protected and yourself cool.
The magic is in our proprietary NoFry fabric. The fabric itself weighs just 79gsm, and the entire Four-Snap hoodie comes in at only 114g in a size medium. It packs down incredibly small and feels nearly weightless on your body.
Four snaps up front let you dump heat and increase airflow when you’re working hard. Discreet thumbholes keep the sleeves in place on windy days and add sun coverage over the backs of your hands.
The fabric wicks moisture and dries incredibly fast, making it easy to rinse and hang dry when you’re traveling. Ideal for exposed hikes, long days on the water, and adventure travel where you’d rather pack less and do more.

Made from our proprietary NoFry grid-knit fabric: 100% recycled poly at just 79gsm. Soft, silky, and stretchy, with a subtle grid texture that lets air move right through.
The fabric wicks moisture and dries incredibly fast. Plant-based odor control from HeiQ Mint helps keep the stink in check between washes.
That featherweight feel deserves a little more care than heavier fabrics. You don’t need to baby it, but avoid direct contact with Velcro, sharp edges, and abrasive surfaces to help prevent snags or pilling.

Wash / Care Instructions
To extend the life of this ultralight fabric, wash inside out and avoid washing with Velcro, open zippers, or anything abrasive that could snag or pill the fabric.
You don’t need to baby it, but because NoFry is intentionally built to feel nearly weightless and breathable, it deserves a little more care than heavier fabrics.
Hang dry when you can to help maintain the soft, barely-there feel.

Pair It With
I love my No Fry Hoodie Four Snap. I wear it for sun protection, whether I'm day hiking, or pulling weeds in the garden, or volunteering at the NorCal Resist Seeds of Solidarity urban farm in Sacramento. It's light. I do not usually wear hoodies, but I use the NoFry Hoodie with a hat for the sun protection. I even use the slits to protect my hand from the sun. If it had a pocket, I'd also consider it for backpacking because I need a shirt pocket for backpacking.

Absolutely love this shirt. The buttons make the biggest difference between this and my OR echo hoodie. It does help you stay cooler when it’s hotter out.
We visited Rome and Athens in August 2026. Both cities reached 38ºC every day, and we were in the sun a lot. Instead of putting on sunblock on my arms and feeling sticky, and carrying a hat, I wore the NoFry Sun Hoodie. It worked out so well. I simply washed it in the shower every night, and it dried in the morning. Because of it, I did not wear four of the polo/T-shirts I packed. I also wore it on the long-haul flight. It felt like pajamas, and the long sleeves did not let the dry airplane air dry out the skin (of my arms).
Just took this backpacking on the TCT Catalina island and it held up great! Very breathable and light.

I have taken the NoFry Hoodie on many hikes and trail runs in the Arizona summer heat! It has performed so well, keeping me cool and shaded.
Used this for the Habanero Hundred and I absolutely loved it. Very light, cool, and protected against a blazing sun in an August Texas race that started at noon. Highly recommend
This is my second NoFry Sun Hoodie, and love this one as well. Very lightweight, and the material is soft and feel good on the skin. There is some stretch to the material which I like, especially when active on trails. I use my two hoodies for training during the day and also wear casually.
I buy the four snap for bike rides. It is really nice to be able to pop the buttons open during a ride for more air on your body. I love the lightweight fabric. Because the fabric is so lightweight I buy the one snap shirts to wear under my collared golf shirts for sun protection. Picture is after a bike ride. I’m 5’8” 190 lbs wearing a large.
The material just glides across the skin and is so comfortable. In 110deg heat in AZ, it blocks the sun well and keeps me cooler. Excellent buy!

Got the NoFry Sun hoodie for mountain biking and walking in the Arizona heat. Perfect for triple digit dry heat weather. The hood is the kicker. It keeps your head cool, especially when the sun is beating down your neck. The material is so thin that the hood fits perfectly under my helmet or a hat with no bulk. Thin, breathable and strong! As advertised, the sun protection is awesome. I appreciate the clean design details. Love the free lifetime repair program.
