Stretchy waistband with an internal drawstring that can be tied outside, inside or easily removed. Two small accessory loops for keys, sunglasses or whatever else.
Side zipper pocket big enough for a large phone, hidden zipper on the back right pocket, button closure on the back left and traditional front pockets with an added media pocket on the right.
All pockets have light, stretchy mesh lining that help keep everything breathable and dry super fast, making these pants perfect for when you need to hand wash and hang dry when traveling or camping.

Regarding UPF Rating...
Our Vent Pants/Shorts technically don’t carry an official UPF (Ultraviolet Protection Factor) rating. That’s because the fabric is ventilated with extremely tiny needle-sized holes designed for maximum breathability. Since direct UV light can pass through those minuscule vents under very specific conditions, the pants can’t be certified with a UPF rating.
That said, in real-world use, it’s virtually impossible to get sunburned through them or get any meaningful UV exposure to your skin at all. For UV rays to reach your skin through those tiny vents, you’d have to be lying completely still in direct sunlight for several hours without moving at all. In normal use, there will never be any meaningful UV exposure through the fabric.
However, if you have heightened concerns about UV exposure due to skin sensitivity, medical reasons, or personal preference, we totally understand. In that case, we’d recommend checking out our Shenanigan Pants, which are a similarly lightweight option but fully UPF-rated for added peace of mind.

These pants are great! Bought them for my trip to New Mexico. Kept me from needing the usual quart of spf 1000 on my legs, and I didn’t overheat.
I ordered a size XXL Nofry Sun Shirt Long Sleeve (Color Sage) and XXL Vent Lightweight Active Pants (Slim Fit, Color Black). This is the first time I’ve ordered a clothing item Size XXL. I am 6’3”, 230’ and typically order Size XL. Based on several reviews I read, I ordered XXL and it was definitely the right move ordering one size up. Both the pants and shirt fit well, look good and are well-made. They performed admirably over a few days hiking in hot and humid Shenandoah National Park and nearby areas. The pants have two deep, front pockets that comfortably hold your smart phone and more. I agree with comments made by others re: the back pocket with zipper - - it would operate more smoothly if opening and closing were in opposite directions. Both items wash well. I am favorably impressed with KETL Mtn.’s Nofry Shirt and Active Pants.

Comfortable the whole time!
Designed for the discerning man that generates way too much booty sweat. These are the best pants I've ever purchased, I wear them to work, dinner, all the time. My only gripe is that even after only a few weeks of wear, my Ridge wallet (very small) is leaving a noticeable mark on the backpoclet of the pants and is probably a month or so of wear from ripping through.
These are the best active pants I own. I have worn them for hikes, bike rides, and even to dinner.
